Today I finally got a chance to set up a game I purchased last year and brought back from Houston. A 1976 Williams “Space Mission” EM game, the theme centers around the Apollo-Soyuz link-up in 1975. This game exhibited a somewhat common problem, of the ball not advancing and being stuck on “ball one” over and over, so the game would never end. In this series of videos, I illustrate what causes this and how to fix it.
Hi, I just purchased space odyssey and there is one problem I cant seem to fix, when the ball goes up the advance bonus chute the game tilts, do you have any ides for me? Thanks
Great video I am having the same issue so ill go try it thanks.
Liked your video on ball not advancing. I have a 1975 Gottlieb Vulcan doing the same thing.
I have an Aztec that won’t go past ball 2. Cleaned this baby up pretty good. Goes all four players ok but won’t go past second ball. Funny thing is you can’t even do by hand.
Those player stepper units were often lubricated with grease, which will turn into sludge after many years. That unit probably needs to be disassembled and cleaned. Search for videos on player stepper units at: https://youtube.com/pinballhelp
